To optimize athletic performance and enhance the overall well-being of our clients through specialized manual therapy techniques tailored to the needs of athletes, promoting injury prevention, rapid recovery, and long-term physical resilience
The primary service at Good Craft Physical Therapy is Active Release Technique (ART), which has been recognized as the gold standard in soft tissue care since 1984. ART releases muscles, ligaments, tendons, and fascia that no longer function properly due to overuse or damage. Dr. Kate Gutekunst will perform a hands-on movement assessment to identify affected areas and pinpoint the issue(s). Once the issue(s) are located, your clinician will proceed to utilize movements, filtered through a physical therapy lens, applying hands-on pressure, all precisely engineered to release adhesions, improve motion, and reduce pain.
In our physical therapy clinic, therapists are trained to help manage pain and improve physical function, using a variety of non-pharmacological approaches such as manual therapy, exercise, and education.
We work closely with athletes to help them recover from injuries, improve performance, and prevent future injuries. Dr. Gutekunst has extensive experience with strength and conditioning, CrossFit, triathlon and endurance training, skiing, horseback riding and rock climbing and utilizes specific components of each sport in the application of physical therapy treatments.
Dr. Kate Gutekunst is certified by the American Institute of Balance in Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT), which is proven to be effective in managing chronic dizziness, vertigo, and imbalance.
We offer concierge or telehealth physical therapy services for patients who prefer the convenience of therapy in their home or at their gym (additional fees may apply). This can be beneficial for older adults who have exceeded their Medicare home health benefits.
